What are your amenities?
We are a small mom-and-pop-style motel, but we do our best to make your stay the best possible. Our efficiency apartments are larger than a typical motel room and offer a full kitchen with utensils, pots/pans, drinkware, coffee pot, and microwave. Each room has a well-functioning AC unit. Our rooms have a mini fridge as well. Each room has cable TV. If staying longer than a weekend OR planning to cook and have a special pot or skillet, you might want to bring it!
Do you have a pool?
No, we do not have a pool, BUT we are a 2-minute walk to the beach. Actually, just across Ocean Blvd is the 3rd Ave beach access. Our beach is beautiful and wide, and the water temperature is always great!
Is parking free?
Yes, we have parking in front of the motel. We will provide you with a car tag to place on the dashboard during busy times, so we can ensure that only our guests are parking in front of the motel.
Do you have daily maid service?
We do not have daily maid service, but if you are staying longer than 2 nights, we will be happy to change your sheets on the 3rd day. We also offer clean towels daily. We are old school. Just bring your wet towels down to the office, and we are happy to exchange them! We provide toilet paper, soap, and trash bags!
Do you have an elevator?
We do not have an elevator as we are an older establishment, but just one flight of stairs will get you to the second floor (approximately 18 steps) and 2 steps to get to the first floor. The cottage also has 2 steps to enter.
Are you near Main St, Ocean Drive?
YES, we are just 3 blocks from downtown, where you will find restaurants, bars, shopping, ice cream shops, and more! No need to drive downtown. We are an easy walk there!
Are there grocery stores nearby?
YES! Publix, Wal-Mart, Kroger, and Food Lion are all within a few minutes of the motel.
How far is Broadway at the Beach? Outlet malls? Barefoot Landing? Golf courses?
All of those attractions are easily accessible from the motel via HWY 17 or HWY 31 (a great shortcut). Broadway at the Beach is 15 miles away, Barefoot Landing is 4.5 miles away, and the Tanger Outlets are 6 miles away. Golf courses and mini golf are PLENTIFUL and just 3 minutes away.
Can you recommend good seafood and other restaurants? Absolutely! We are happy to offer suggestions for fresh seafood, barbecue, pizza, breakfast, etc. Just ask or check out some local places on our What’s Nearby page.
